Also- we have use the term "restore" quite too liberally- I wouldn't call what we did a "restoration" in so many words- we just took it apart- fixed stuff that was bad (to the best of our ability)-undercoated it to survive midwest winters for awhile, painted the pieces Then put them back together-
We painted it in our garage and if you look close enough it shows
but from 20 feet or so it looks mighty "ok"!
