Still looking for info about attaching a Delco Remy 6v voltage regulator cover onto my Echlin 12v regulator.

Does a mid-50's 12volt cover look like a '54 6volt cover? If so, maybe I can expand my search. Any obvious markings on the cover to identify it as 12v?

The diagonal center-to-center distance between mounting holes on the Echlin cover that it will replace is 4-3/8". The height is 3-1/8" between the lips. Width is 4" between the lips.

Got to be a lot of 6v regulators somewhere that were removed when converting to 12v.
