| | | | Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 137 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 137 | Finally got some new (to me) tires and wheels on the old girl. They are standard mid-90's 8-lug steelies with the beauty rings. Ended up getting new lug nuts (60 degree bulge, 1/2" - 20) all the way around and wheel studs (Dorman 610-192) on the front to account for the 1/2" of spacers I had to use to clear the tie rod ends. Lotta work but it turned out well and the ride and steering are much improved. I've had it up to 62 mph a few times since and it feels very comfortable (if a bit loud).
