| | | | Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 9,115 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 9,115 | That arrangement is to make it theft proof and the power to the coil goes through the steel cable which is attached to the ignition switch. I have this on my 38 and I will not be using it. You can hook up a new coil in the normal way. If you want to replace the old coil with a new similar one, there is a thread somewhere on this board that tells how to remove the cap. | | |
