I have a '38 coupe & believe the truck and car firewalls were similar if not identical. It might be easier if you post pics of the areas that concern you. I or someone else can then take a pic of that area and send it to you. I have a few pics that show parts of the firewall but I haven't taken pics with showing that area specifically. I did find this one that may be of assistance.
