Jerry - I figured I'd have to go .030 or .040 on the crank. Once I measure it, I will know more. Why don't you think I should go .040 if need be? This crank looks tough as nails.
That's an interesting thought on blasting media. The only thing that was blasted and attached to the motor was the oil pan, the motor was tanked and everything else is new. There is superfine metal in the oilpan though, but I'm not sure where its from yet. I am going to tear it down this morning.
