For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Your clutch and transmission questions should go in the driveline forum.
Original type keys are available on Ebay. Any locksmith with a 1935-66 GM code book can cut them.
For service and repair manuals I like to have the factory service manual and a Motors Truck Repair Manual. Before starting an operation I read through both. The factory manual was written by tech writers and they refer to the special factory tools needed; the Motors Manuals were written by mechanics who have done the job and offer some tips and shortcuts. | | |
