that is definately the piece i am looking for. darn yours isnt for sale!! wonder if anyone else has one laying around for sale? i might even try local hardware shop for some threaded rod and just bend it myself. thanks again for all the help!

Tim has a part number fot a universal Camaro rod that is on my truck right now for the dual Carter/Weber carb setup. That is why the link was on parts shelf and available for the photo op. If I were going to try and duplicate the original piece, that universal rod would be a great starting point as it would basically just require the bends.
