Hy SD66Burb, if your truck is still complete (engine in it), and you get the truck high enough to begin with, you should be able to remove and install your springs using a floor jack under the lower control arm. It is dangerous work, there is a lot of potential energy in even a partially collapsed coil spring, take your time and be careful, hope that helps.
