I have the same problem with my 58. The DS upper shock mount is broken in two, and the PS upper shock mount hole has been widened out and the shock just rattles around.
I see the shock brackets for the 47-55 Trucks, and I'm wondering if I can use those and just use the older style shocks.
Has anyone tried this? Are the mounting holes the same?
