Thanks for the replys, the reason i figured rubber might look better is because of its flexibility.I go through the wheel well quite a bit to get to stuff and itd be easier to just fold it up then to unscrew it each time. plus im not sure how well i would be able to get the right bends in the metal to insure enough protection for the engine.
