Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 253 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 253 | I'm trying to help out a friend who has a coolant leak at the back of the motor in his late 50's chevy pick up that has a small block V8 probably a 283. I'm thinking there is a rotten freeze plug in the back that is leaking but I'm much more of a staight six guy than SB v8's so can anybody tell me where the plug or plugs would be on the back of that motor or for that matter another possible source of leaking coolant originateing from the back?
