| | | | Joined: Jul 2012 Posts: 4 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jul 2012 Posts: 4 | hello, I am new to the forum. My fire dept and I aquired our first ever fire engine. It is a 1945 chevy with the 235 CI engine. It has been sitting since the late 70s. and when we went to fire it up, the valves stuck. so we now need all the valves,and pushrods. My question is, are the valves and pushrods the same for the 216s and the 235s? I have tried searching to find an answer to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.
