It wasn't pumping. Took it apart, cleaned, and reassembled. Put Marvel Mystery oil in inlet side. Pushed on lever and oil sucked in, but oozed back out. Loosened all 6 screws a little and it worked normal when I repeated the process. Tightened screws and it doesn't work. Loosened screws again and it works. When I took the pump loose from the engine, the lever didn't have full throw and when I pushed it in, it took several seconds for the lever to return back out. Is one of those little check valves messed up? Which one? Jim
