I am pretty new to the forum and must say how much help I've had in my projects by following your discussions. Many of my questions have been answered by paying attention to what is shared from the experience of others. I hope I can give some of that help back in the same way.
I will be doing some serious work to the doors of my '56 3100: hinge brackets, lower frame and skin. I've collected or made the repair parts and will start soon but I did consider the purchase of reproduction doors that are available. If they are as advertised, the time saving would be considerable knowing what is required to restore my original doors. I enjoy the work so I have committed to the project but I wonder if anyone has used one of these repro doors. Are they made on the original machinery? Are they stamped of the correct material and do they fit?
