Hello all!
I stumbled on this site a couple of weeks ago while reading a post on
www.6066gmcguy.org. Surely wish I'd known about it sooner. I moved to Fletcher, between Asheville & Hendersonville, after retiring as a firefighter.
I'm a GMC'er, having owned a '79 1/2-ton & '89 Jimmy, both 4wd, and am currently having a '63 restored.
I restore older emergency warning equipment for those who are restoring emergency vehicles.
I'll keep tabs on the events and maybe someday come sliding in. Be safe out there!
