Now that I have installed my alternator I am kind of stuck on how to wire this thing up. My alternator is NOT a one wire alternator. It is the other kind. I also have the metal box looking thing on the fire wall where some of the wires went to the generator. They are labeled: Batt, F, and A. Am I still going to be utilizing this box with my alternator conversion? It says Borg Warner on it. I also purchased a DA plug from Patrick's. It has two wires coming from it. A yellow and a red that go into a flat style plug. I do know that the plug fits into the alternator.
One more thing, when I change out my ignition coil how do I know whether or not I need to use a ballist resistor. How do you tell if it already has an internal one or if I need to use an external one?
