I am replacing a new gas tank and as I take it off I find out I need a sending unit also,can I put the gas tank on without the sending unit?
Assume you mean the sender (float, resistor, etc & not the sending unint asm.
Do you need to replace it because you have aftermarket fuel gauge or is it rotted off? If just the gauge, go for it, don't let it run out!
