jock is correct. If you plan to use glass without a frame, the channels will have to be changed. Maybe other parts. And, of course, if you are having flat glass cut, and it's not original, make a template out of 1/4" plywood that fits your doors correctly, (after you have installed the correct width channel,) so the shop knows what you expect. I have not had mine apart yet, so can't give details. (I will be replacing both door glasses at some point.) I guess if you want original, keep the frames...may be more work/cost, but old is cool! But, if it's a rod, go the easy way, power windows, etc. It's you're ride!!
