Spend the extra money and go for the electronic speedometer....you will end up saving money!!

If you go the mechanical route and your speedometer doesn't read right then your looking at:
a) changing the speedometer gear in the transmission "possibly several times to get it right".
b) Purchasing a speedometer gear ratio adapter
c) A trip to a speedometer and electric shop to have it calibrated.

With the electric speedometer you just mark off a 1-mile distance and follow the steps in the instructions to set the speedometer for you tire and rearend gear. Then if you ever change tire diameter or gear ratio's you just go through the calibration process again and it's not another visit to the Speedometer shop or having to crawl under the truck to change out the gears in the speedometer unit on the transmission.
