#85641 04/25/2004 6:20 PM | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 71 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: May 2001 Posts: 71 | I have a couple fuel level gauges from 47-53 trucks and while installing one I found that the sender wire post is connected to ground (like the gauge housing). Is this correct? I would think it would never change it's reading from the fuel sender. I tested another and it didn't do this. I figured the first one was bad until I read that the GMC might be different?
