Finally got around to checking the wiper motor that came out of my '56 3600. It's the electric type (was that stock in '56? I thought it should have had the vacume type) and doesn't work. So I took it apart. Wow!! not exactly a electro-mechanical nightmare, but pretty interesting how they made things work back then. The motor tests (continuity)OK and the gearing apears to work OK, so I'm going to take the burnishing file to the contacts and put it back together.
Does anyone have any insight into these old 'lectric types??
