Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 1,299 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 1,299 | On the bracket that clamps around the steering column that the neutral start switch mounts to under the hood, there are detents for each shift position. What happens is the rod right behind the shift lever is supposed to slide back and forth and lock into the detent positions. It dries up and binds so that the rod does not slide in and out smoothly as it should and you don't get the solid lock into each gear position. | | |
