| | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | you overfilled the rad to start, common for folks not familiar with the old systems - when cold it should be down a couple/few inches so there's room for the expansion that happens when it gets up to temperature, let it find it's level and show you what's right, no need for an overflow tank, although some folks like to add one
