According to the packing slip included with every Perfect Circle ring set I ever installed, they reccomend doing 10 full-throttle accelerations from 30 MPH to 50 MPH in high gear on level ground. This loads the rings against the cylinder walls and promotes quick ring seating. After that, they claim no further break-in is needed. I'd still reccomend an oil and filter change somewhere in the first 500 to 1,000 miles. Jerry
