I have a 55 2nd that has a 350 engine. It currently has the chicken leg engine mounts in the front of the engine and the bellhousing mounts in the rear. I would like to remove the front mounts to be able to mount the alternator down low to give a cleaner engine compartment. Which of the replacement mounts would be the best?

What are the advantages and disadvantages of each. Also, can I keep the bellhousing mounts or should I remove them and switch to a transmission crossmember? Thanks in advance.
