Not sure if anyone is familiar with California. I had a choice: register it and insure it as a Historic Vehicle, and drive whenever there's a parade. Or keep Year of Manufacture plates, and insure it at the rates of a 'big rig' working dump truck. Is there a way to insure it with the YoM plates, and insure it for about 5000 miles a year, make a few dump runs, landscape runs (sod, sand, etc) Are there any options? I've tried Hagerty, but since I have YoM commercial plates, they won't do it JC Taylor says "parade use"....
Any ideas???
