Hey Bos, PLEASE don't give up on the truck. I think I might have a couple of ideas after reading your list.
-shouldn't the 10 ga from the IGN terminal on the switch go to the coil to provide constant voltage for ignition?
-shouldn't the 10ga from the SOL terminal on the switch go to the S terminal on the starter?
I'm not totally sure these ideas would work. As a newly licenced wet behind the ears technician, automotive electrical is one mystery I'm still learning to deal with. I hope this might help you out. Don't give up-when you finally figure it out, you will feel SO pleased...trust me on that one.
