I choose to make mine road worthy for the rest of a season (which ended up being 1 month!) before tearing it down to do a frame off.
I never planned on doing a frame off, but once I got into it pretty soon I realized I was 4 bolts away from removing the cab - and that was it!
Whatever way you choose to go will be the right way for you, either driving it or wrenching on it - it's all enjoyable to me!
