For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2007 Posts: 222 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: May 2007 Posts: 222 | Replaced the fuel line and pump on a 49, 216 engine and now I have a horrendous fuel leak somewhere at or near the carburetor. It does not leak when it's cranking over, only when the engine starts and then it showers out at or near the carb so bad that I have to shut it down before I can locate the leak, I'm deathly afraid of having a fire it's leaking so bad. It's a newer rebuilt carb, could something be leaking on it all of a sudden? Thanks for the help
