Hey kedso, I see you didn't see what I was doing here, just posting that I added a cool changing photo to my webpage that shows how to do this mod on the 1960-1966 GMC trucks.
Yes one coold change the switch, but all you need to do is hook the wire that goes to the front park lights to the wire that goes to the tail lights, and you don't need to remove them, just use a Quick Connecter or Scotch Lock to hook the wires to each other. Only took me about 10 min to do on my truck and that included taking the photos for the webpage.
