Hi all, what's going on here? I have a tilt column with the conventional start switch on the column. In the "start position" the starter wants to stay engaged after the switch is released. A local mechanic said to replace the ignition switch which I did and the problem was still there. Another guy said to replace the key tumbler which I did not do. Instead, I figured I would fix the problem by installing a separate push button start switch in the dash. Bought a brand new shiny push button switch and installed it. Turned ignition switch on, pushed starter button, engine turns over, released starter button and engine continues to turn over. Am I getting some electrical feedback through the circuit or what? Any ideas? Thanks, Don
