The accelerator pump was bad, the
carburetor was
filthy and there was a
ball valve jammed so far back into the
plug that it wouldn't come out and had to be replaced. The springs were also worn out. I purchased a used carburetor for $20 and used those springs and the plug for the power valve. Now you just touch the starter and it fires right up. it's amazing how good that old truck runs.
Once again, thank you gentleman for all your help. Now we have to tune, tweek and adjust everything so a 78 year old man can drive this truck everyday like he did 56 years ago.
