Thanks for the reply. Please excuse my ignorance on vintage Chevy terminology. I'm an old Volkswagen guy, this is my first vintage Chevy. I think I am using the wrong terminology. The middle of the axle housing has two portions secured with ten nuts, the back cover and then the front portion that attaches to the drive shaft. I need the torque specs for the nuts that secure the driveshaft side to the axle housing.
