Hy audey, yes you can do that if you like, that's a big job. I assume you have the Kelsey 5/10 bolt wheels, there are tubeless versions of wheels out there with that bolt pattern, so I would look for some of those first. Widow makers is a term that is being misused, in my mind the only true widow maker is the Firestone RH-5, any multi-piece wheel that does not come apart in the center is safe to work with if the pieces are in good shape, hope that helps.
