Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 | I had a set in the same condition and saved them by replacing the 7/16 lugs with 1/2" ones. Required drilling 7/16 lug shoulder holes slightly larger. The tapered part on a 1/2" lug nut is considerably bigger and really big on some Lincolns. The nice thing is they have 7/16 lugs with the same shoulder size that presses into the hub/axle as the 1/2 has so it's easy to go back to the original size.
