Woogeroo's advice is spot on. Keep all the pieces parts, then if you sell it's all good.
Just don't get to hung up worrying about the numbers matching thing. Unless your truck is very rare, highly optioned or an immaculate survivor "numbers matching" doesn't mean much to the vast majority of prospective old truck buyers.
