So I have a 1953 GMC 100 short bed with 2 different sizes on her, the back has 7.00 x 16 and the front has 6.50 x 16. first off whats the stock size and second off what have I put on it for radials without paying a thousand bucks ha. I see some post saying 215/85/16 tires can be put on it but the local tire people say that the rims will be to narrow ? i know they are roughly 4.5 inches wide. What do you guys think? and what did you guys do? im on a tight budget i'm just trying to get her out and pound some pavement like it should not darken the garage
