What's the difference between 1947-1955 GMC and Chevy radiators? In the Truck Shop catalog, they are described as having exactly the same core size. If the difference is the locations of inlets and outlets, where are they on the GMC radiators? If they happen to be at top left and bottom right (as viewed from the cab looking forward), a GMC radiator would work better with the LT1 engine I'm putting in my '52 Chevy 3/4 ton. It would probably be cheaper to spend a few extra bucks for a GMC radiator than to have the radiator shop move the top neck on a new Chevy radiator.
Are the core supports the same between GMC and Chevy?
