We have a 49 1/2ton, model 3100 panel truck, 216 engine. I have been searching for replacement brake drums for the truck, both front and rear, but the cost is out of sight. If they were 1953 drums and up they are cheap, $25-30.00, but below that year they are over a $100.00 a piece. So what gives as to the cost and does anyone know where to get new drums for the 49 for a reasonable cost? Thanks for the help.
