I am looking for a project to restore to almost completely original for a daily driver. I like the 1940 to 1953 Chevy 1/2 ton. So here are my questions:
- Which one would be the least expensive to rebuild?
- Which would be the most expensive to rebuild?
- which would possibly be the easiest to rebuild?
- Which would be possibly the hardest to rebuild?
My goal is to purchse a workable truck for under $2,000 and put about $6,000 into it.
I will do most of the work including paint.
Engine work would go to a shop.
I am leaning towards putting a CD player in it; 12-volt conversion; dual carbs and seatbelts. Any help would be appreciated.
