I was wondering how originally the front clip was connected to the frame. My truck is a 1953 on a 64 frame. The only way the front clip was connected, was by the lower radiator support. The fenders connected there and the Previous owner then welded a plate to hold the lower radiator mount to the frame.
I had to cut the lower radiator support out, i plan on rewelding it back in and to the fenders, but was wondering if their is another way i could brace the fenders to the frame to better support them
