| | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,983 Sir Searchalot | | Sir Searchalot Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,983 | If the Camaro cable is close to reaching the "L" brackets on your Panel Ebrake bar, you can use a Dorman PN 21125 cable connector (google it) and attach the ball end of your Camaro cable to it and weld/attach a threaded rod to other end of 21125. The rod will pass thru the "L" bracket and be secured with nuts on either side as per original. You can, of course, make your own version of the cable connector to transition from a ball to a rod. I have not tried this yet and am not 100% sure it will work. I know it will apply the ebrake but not sure the spring on the ebrake end inside drum will maintain tension so as to keep ball seated in 21125 on the release. I think it will. I may be trying this, or a hybrid of this, in the near future on my 57 Panel with a 64 12Bolt.
