Kevin - I have just finished installing a hidden custom stereo under the front seat of my 1950 3100 (lots of room). I did not want to remove the working original radio in the dash. The unit has ipod,sirus,6 cd changer,Usb and aux booster cables on the unit. The stereo is run by a remote that is totally wireless and has a display on the remote face. Remote is Rf style that needs no point to point direct line of site to run. It actually runs from 40' away in another room. I was getting ready to write a story with pictures but have not been able to get the seat back in to see how it sounds then (just had my hip replaced and I am a little slowed.) It sounds great right now and am really pleased. I have 482 songs on my flash drive and the remote will show and play them. Speakers are boxed units from the sane company. 8" woofers and two tweeters in each unit. Had carpet under seat so I was able to mount everything using velcro. I can send you some pictures if you like. Same company makes the original looking units with all the hook ups but this was easy to install. Just need to get the seat installed to see the quality of the sound. One thing I did was hooked the speakers under the seat to the rear wires so I could add front units later if necessary and I could over drive the underseat units if they are muffeled too much to balance.
