3B 'Bolter 3 Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 B. C. Canada	Hy wak1963, welcome, if earthing (grounding) does nothing to either gauge, then you either have an open between the sender wire and the gauge or an open in the gauge itself, hope that helps
