My 51 3800 has a tag screwed to the dash showing the shift pattern. Is this original to the truck? It is a former Navy vehicle and also has a plate attached to the dash stating such. Finally getting around to working on the dash and was trying to decide whether to clean the tags up and put them back on the dash, or weld in the holes and finish the truck without tags.
