Hey guys. My name is Troy and I live in the Dallas area. I recently picked up my 1959 Chevrolet Apache from my dad in El Paso. He's owned the truck since 1992. I plan on creating a build thread soon with all the pics I've taken in the last few weeks.
In the mean time I've been trying to decipher this truck. My father said it was originally a military vehicle painted olive drab before being purchased by his boss and painted white (then sold to him in 1992).
I've got the vin: 3A59K141165
So built in Kansas City etc.
So now on to my question..... figuring out what options my truck had from the factory. Is this plate the only way to figure that information out? Color says SPEC ?
Anyone have any clue what that means?
