I'm about paint my starter and my generator off of my 216, but destined for my 235.

Gloss Black seems to be the only paint detail I can find, and I'm using a Engine high Temp paint, no problem there.

My question concerns the end of the generator and the one end of the starter. I've seen some photos that show these the silver or iron color, and other where the whole assembly was painted black.

I'm finding many combinations there of.

Does anyone know how it came new? I'm at that stage, figured try to keep it as close to original as I can since I went through the pain of de-greasing this mess...
