| | | | Joined: Mar 2012 Posts: 21 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Mar 2012 Posts: 21 | can one change out the 6v fields and change up to 12v in my stock generator.If so would one know where to get the parts or would it be easier to get one off a new version of the same that is already 12 volt? i have checked with my local altenator and starter shop and they can't do any thing for me.Trying to keep it looking as stock as possible but having the convenience of a 12 volt system
