That is a good looking truck. My advice is to drive it like it is a while. Get to know it and make notes of things you'd do different. You might be happy with the 235. It's really all you need in an old truck. I'd recommend power front discs. And an over drive transmission. Those kinds of mods can be done in a day or two and you're back to driving.

Lot's of people tear their trucks apart with dreams of their ideal hot rod, cream puff or whatever. A large percentage of them never get put back together. I think it's better to just do a little at a time while you drive it and enjoy it.
